Course Dates: March 18th – April 12th

Join me for a month of botanical gel printing

We’ll start with the basics to get you thinking about color combinations and layering, then move to playing with leaves and layers. Lesson by lesson we will progress through grasses, Spanish moss, feathers, and more. I love gel printing ... and more than that, I love to share my skills. Many of the techniques are more accessible than people realize, I aim to bring different printmaking concepts within easy reach for anyone wanting to learn.

Lessons will publish on Mondays and Fridays, there will be two Lessons per week for a total of eight lessons. Each lesson contains multiple videos ranging in length from 10 to 25 minutes.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions in the Discussions Tab and I will post a reply typically within 24 hours. I will be active in the Discussion Tab from March 18th to April 12th, after that you may view and re-view the material at your own pace indefinitely. Please post your work in our private Facebook Group!

Monday April 8th we will gather together via Zoom for a demo and Q&A. This will be a time to bring all of your questions. (Don’t worry if you need to miss the live component; it will be recorded.)

I will be in the virtual classroom from March 18th to April 12th for commentary

Art Alternatives Cradled Wood Panels All Sizes I like a square format for my prints and the idea of hanging them in a grouping like a grid, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your prints to various other sizes that divide out of an 8x10 print! These are easy to hang without framing, if you want to display your finished prints as art.
