Join me at Sunny Point cottage on the bank of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY. Arts Center of Yates County presents five days of one-day workshops with something for everyone. Join me for Gel Printing for Collage Paper, Small Format Florals, Small Format Birds, or Open Studio. Take one, take two, or take all five! You won’t believe this venue on the lake. The Finger Lakes region of upstate NY is spectacular in the summer! Behold the scenic beauty of 19 waterfalls in nearby gorge, Watkins Glen State Park
These one-day workshops will be held at the Arts Center’s unique Keuka Lake-side facility, Sunny Point so participation is limited to 14. each workshop is $150 members, $175 not-yet-members.

Monoprinting for Collage Paper–Saturday August 5th
Work on multiple techniques for printing on paper with the gel plate. Monoprinting is an art in and of itself, but these papers can also be used to give depth and add interest to collage, note cards, prayer flags, scrap booking, holiday table place cards, and much more!
Amazing Gel Prints–Sunday August 6th
Working specifically with stencils to create amazing gel prints, focusing on techniques outlined in my 2022 book, Amazing Gel Prints, Working with Stencils. While your prints might be frame worthy works of art in their own right, they can also form the basis of creative papers to be used in my creative collage techniques.
Fabulous Florals!–Monday August 7th
Celebrate the flowers of a New York State summer! Create a multi-layered impressionistic collage with your original papers as brush marks with my unique techniques. Inspired by fresh flowers, we start with a simple sketch and an acrylic underpainting for composition, color, light, and form, and then glue collage papers on top!
Birds and Blooms–Tuesday August 8th
Working from a photograph, learn how to create small and simple songbirds in collage. I’ll teach you how to transfer a sketch from your photo, create an acrylic underpainting for composition, color, light, and form, and then glue collage papers on top!
Open Studio–Wednesday August 9th
An opportunity to do gel printing, create new papers, work on a collage in process or start a new one with guidance from me. Bring a project from earlier in the week or something completely of your own choosing! Don’t miss this opportunity to have one-on-one guidance from me in this small group format!
