NEW! This new series of fun, funky floral pieces has been super popular on social media. Learn to create whimsical mixed media flowers in vessels on a background full of patterns. Incorporate acrylic paint, metallic leaf, stencils, and your own gel printed collage papers into a colorful, bright, piece of artwork. All levels welcome. If you have taken a workshop with me previously, you may bring an independent project to work on at this workshop.

Drawing from your imagination and provided samples

How to be sure your collage fodder glues down flat
How to create floral collages by integrating foreground and background
How to create an underpainting with vibrant color and successful shading as a roadmap for collage
How to paint your own collage papers using the gel plate
How to rip and glue–applying your collage paper in a painterly manner
How to tear with and without white edges
How to vary your paper brush marks in size and shape
