Overseas Art Workshops 2026 and 2027

Let’s Take an Art Adventure and Make Memories of a Lifetime!

There’s something powerful that happens when you step out of your everyday life and into a new place with the intention to create. The pace shifts. Your eyes open wider. Colors feel richer, textures more meaningful—and suddenly, your art begins to change right alongside you.

My overseas workshops aren’t just about making art. They’re about experiencing a place fully—through culture, connection, and creativity—and letting that experience find its way into your work.

Ireland — Wild Beauty & Soulful Stories

On the west coast of Ireland, in Mulranny, everything feels a little more poetic. The light is soft and ever-changing, the skies dramatic, and the landscape feels alive with history.

Here, we create mixed media animal collages inspired by the land—and yes, even the old Irish goats that wander through like they own the place (because they do). There’s something grounding about Ireland. Quiet. Timeless. It invites you to slow down and really see.

The studio is open 24 hours, the accommodations are just upstairs, and the sense of community that forms here is something truly special.

Tuscany — Layers of Time & Texture

Tuscany feels like stepping into a painting. Stone villages, weathered walls, muted tones layered with centuries of history—it’s a dream setting for mixed media artists.

In this workshop, we explore Modern Medieval Portraits inspired by frescoes and the elegant elongation of Amedeo Modigliani. We build our portraits in layers—photo transfer, drawing, acrylic, collage—mirroring the layered history all around us.

Our boutique setting is tucked into a small medieval village, with a studio just steps away and time built in to explore, absorb, and be inspired.

Sorrento — Bold Color & Italian Spirit

Just beyond the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento brings a completely different energy—vibrant, lively, and full of bold color and pattern.

Here, our mixed media portraits are inspired by the iconic Moors Heads of southern Italy. Think expressive faces, rich surfaces, and layered storytelling through collage and paint.

This workshop is about embracing color, taking creative risks, and letting the joy of the place come through your work. And of course, we explore together—food, views, culture—because it all feeds the art.

Nepal — Culture, Spirit & Transformation

Nepal is unlike anywhere else. It’s immersive, vibrant, and deeply spiritual—a place that shifts you, both as an artist and as a person.

This 12-day journey takes us through Kathmandu and Pokhara, where we create mixed media Thangka-inspired portraits. These works are rich with symbolism, pattern, and meaning, influenced by centuries of tradition.

But Nepal is more than a workshop—it’s an experience. The sights, the sounds, the people, the energy—it all becomes part of the creative process. Many artists leave saying this trip changed the way they see the world.

More Than a Workshop

Across all of these destinations, something remains the same: Most people come solo. And they leave with friendships that last a lifetime.
You don’t need to be an expert. You just need a willingness to explore, to try, and to say yes to something new.
Because when you combine travel, art, and community… something truly unforgettable happens.

If you’ve been thinking about joining me on one of these adventures, consider this your invitation.
