Wet and Watery Effects with Ghost Gel Prints
New Technique: Ghost Prints and Watercolor Bleed
This week, I’m sharing a fun technique using my Gustav Klimt Scribbles & Doodles stencil to create a beautiful ghost print—and then taking it one step further.
I’ll show you how to add wet, watery paint to let the color bleed through the print. This simple step does two things: it eliminates those pesky white edges when tearing paper for mixed media projects and creates a gorgeous watercolor-style blend.
It’s a magical mix of printmaking and painting—and the color combinations are endlessly inspiring. I think you’re going to love the results!
